First double

Michele and I escaped the kitchen remodel and headed to Shasta yesterday to chase a bass or two. We had a great time and the weather was perfect. The bite was ok and we found a few fish on beds. Spotted Bass spawn typically in twenty feet of water so finding beds are a little more difficult than the Smallmouth at Lake Almanor. All said, a great day on the lake, the boat ran good and we are having Beer battered bass for dinner tonight.

Waiting for the Granite

All the cabinets are installed and we are waiting on the Granite guy. Michele is in hog heaven putting spices in her two spice racks. One rack for baking and one next to the cook top. The recycling pullout is next then two shelves, barn door for the pantry and crown moulding. It won't be long now.
